I was thinking there was something going on with the bridle.
but I have to admit I was hoping Frank would get at least a little money for more film.
I also had some stray thought about Frank working more favors out of Mary by making the clothes a gamble. Don’t know exactly why that came to mind but it looks like it will take a bit of a different direction.

While more film would have been nice, there are some things money can’t buy. As I told SensoryOverlord, even though he got scammed out of the cash, what Frankie did receive may turn out to be an even greater treasure.

Ha ha ha! Well that =seems= like a winding down of intensity. Except for Chekhov’s bridle in Frankie’s pocket. I’m pretty sure we’ll see that used again.
You know, there’s one thing missing I think. No mention of how horny these events, (and his lack of opportunity to masturbate) must be making Frankie. I’d have thought he’d be getting boners pretty frequently by now. Especially in the barn. a scene where after securing Mary, he’d have been torn between racing off after Percy and the money, or taking a few moments by himself in an alcove or something in the barn. Could have chosen the later, quickly worked himself to the brink and anticipating relief, when sounds of others entering to look for Percy interrupt. So he has to stop, and then chase after Percy himself while painfully edged.
Also the hug scene… what, he wasn’t hard then? It’s about time Mary should learn his intentions are not entirely brotherly. All the better for the tension.
Whatever, this is going great. Can’t wait for the next chapter… but will have to!

Percy might have accidentally left Frankie an even better gift than money. Throw in the hobble and the brush and you’ve got a complete grooming kit. Just think of all the fun he’s going to have with these new toys!
The hug is a significant turning point for Mary. Frankie’s genuine and sincere gesture of concern convinces her to let her guard down and give up trying to stay modest around him. One more in a long, endless stream of sacrificed modesty for her.
It’s probably not the best idea for a pretty girl to openly share all her best assets with a horny teenage boy and expect him to stay honorable about it. How long can she tempt him before he’s no longer satisfied with just heart petting privileges? But what other choice does she have? The burden is too great for her to shoulder alone and no one else is helping her.
You’re also onto something with Frankie’s lack of masturbation opportunities. No spoilers, but it does cause a major problem for him in the next chapter. I’ll post it to the back shelf before the end of the month.
