This is one of my favourite chapters and I’m glad to see it posted. I love the way that poor Rachel is constantly tested and how boundaries pushed, especially in this chapter when we get a preview into how the pinnacle can work and how it will affect Rachel’s life going forward. You’d think that she’d never wear it again after being quite literally impaled on the device, but no. Having it be a part of her swimsuit is perfect for her mentality and for the story as well. Just like Coach Ron though, I’d like to see the Pinnacle pushed to it’s limits. So I hope that is in the plans later in the story, I really do.
